We’re proud to announce the launch of the Inicio Evidence & Impact Hub (IEIH), a new initiative by Inicio Insights and Consulting dedicated to transforming how development challenges are addressed.

Since our founding in 2024, Inicio has championed locally grounded, evidence-based solutions to support organizations. Now, through IEIH, we’re taking this mission further by blending rigorous methods, participatory approaches, and cutting-edge technology to deliver real-time, contextualized insights that answer three critical questions: What works? For Whom? Why does it work? And how we can amplify it? Placing community voice, cultural values, and equity at the center of every solution.

IEIH is powered by four interconnected labs: the Gender Transformative and Inclusion Lab, which focuses on systemic equity through an intersectional lens; the System Assessment Lab, which maps complexity for better decision-making; the Behavioral Communication Lab, which designs culturally resonant behavior change strategies; and the Participatory Approaches Lab, which elevates local knowledge to drive sustainable solutions. Working across sectors like public health, youth employment, agriculture, and climate adaptation, IEIH offers services including research, evaluation, third-party monitoring, M&E support and capacity building, technical assistance, and communication strategy, reimagining development through practical, community-driven impact.

Expanding Horizons, Ask Plus in the UAE, merges with Inicio Insights

We are excited to officially announce the merger of two leading market research and strategic insight companies, Inicio Insights and Ask Plus DMCC. This strategic move combines the expertise of both companies to strengthen their presence and services in the Middle East and North African markets.

The merger brings together Ask Plus DMCC’s extensive experience in consumer research, including specialist services in tobacco research, and Inicio Insights’ expertise in retail and consumer research, with a strong presence in Nigeria and India. Our diverse client portfolio includes respected names in the industry spanning key sectors like FMCG, Tourism, BFSI and Education sectors across the extended region, MEA & India. The combined entity will now have a team of over 50 professionals across three markets – Nigeria, the UAE, and India – to service these clients.
